The Wardlaw-Hartridge School- Peru- 2012

Wednesday, June 13, 2012

The ruins outside Ollantaytambo are a temple to the sun god. It was mid-construction when the Spaniards spoiled the party. The masonry is jaw-dropping. 600 years on and you could not slip a pin between the stones, despite a lack of mortar and the recurring earthquakes.
